Backed by the Australian Government, Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) is tasked with supporting Australia’s transition into a clean energy future, through investment in clean tech, energy, agriculture, infrastructure, property,
transport and waste.
Previously, the CEFC brand had been a functional tool, used primarily to package communications of a transactional nature for a government backed fund. However as an organisation that had reached maturity, there existed an opportunity for the brand to become a catalyst to influence behaviour and lead the market to help solve Australia's toughest emissions challenges.
Mirvac is a leading Australian property developer and manager. They currently have $2 billion in assets under management in Australia. Reflecting on ‘Who we are’, the concept presents a progressive, bold yet simple three word narrative which created character and personality throughout the reporting suite and supporting material.
The refreshed brand positions the CEFC at the centre of innovation. Visually, it is a significant departure from the original, understated brand. The new brand takes ownership of the organisation’s mission and successful track record and to make these an integral part of the brand’s story.
With a strict announcement deadline required, a small team was tasked with delivering a full reporting suite. This included a 132 page printed report, results presentation, property trust report and an interactive microsite.
Clear design direction was needed to ensure both versions of the report remained consistent and accurate with a ‘go live’ on the same day as the printed report’s release to market.
